TYKAN's had the opportunity to meet the Honorable Mayor of Coimbatore city, Mr.VENKATACHALAM . The purpose was to go in collaboration to spread SOCIAL AWARENESS OF POLLUTION ABATEMENT AND ENERGY CONSERVATION (SAPAEC).
TYKA's motive has always been the overall development of its members and that of the society. Abiding by this motive, we approached the Mayor in order to get his permission and support to carry out the above mentioned SAPAEC .
Mr.Mayor is one such person, who with his kindness and support, encouraged our motive which would lead to the betterment and welfare of the city. He was ready to render any help, both morally and financially, for TYKA in making SAPAEC practically possible. We had an interesting and informative talk with the Mayor who indeed gave us more ideas for SAPAEC. We exchanged innovative ideas on what we can do and what the government should do !
Now that the Mayor knows us. It has bestowed upon us a responsibility TO ACT AND ACT NOW.
